This does come with a word of caution. Not having to change your oil and not having to check your oil are two different things. You would be surprised how many damaged tie rods and blown engines are the result of a simple low oil level. Some engines may consume more synthetic oils. As a rule of thumb, you should check your oil level when you fill up with gas. Especially if you are traveling or going long distances.
